The trip to Jessie's Place ( Bekah)

At our school, WBES we had a teddy bear drive. As you know, we are a ThinkQuest team building a website about kindness. We did the teddy bear drive as a project. A lot of kids brought things in like clothes, stuffed animals, and toys. It was amazing to see how much stuff that everyone from our school donated. After school on December 17th, 2007 we went with our teacher Mrs. Harris to Jessie's Place. The people there were really kind. They told us thank you and that the kids would really like all the stuff. We told the people there who we were and we told them that we would send them a link to our website when we were finished.

What a wonderful way to experience kindness by giving to those much less fortunate than you. A great life experience that will always be with the students that visited Jessie's Place : )
