We had a teddy bear drive at school. We donated alot of toys and jackets for the homeless children and women. Yesterday we went to Jessie's Place to drop the stuff off that we raised. We unloaded all the stuff. It was FREEZING! After we did that we told the workers there what our mission was... to make a website after doing kind things and what we've learned while doing them. They thought that was very neat. After we told them that we would send them the link to the finished product we told them goodbye and we hoped the people enjoyed what we gave. They said thank you and finally we went to eat at McDonalds!
December 21st is set aside by the National Coalition for the Homeless as a day to remember the homeless. There are over 3 million people in the United States who are homeless. Jessie's Place helps homeless women who are homeless learn to do jobs and get back on their feet. You can visit their website: Jessie's Place
